WEBSITES

Homeschool Classifieds |I often describe this website to others as being a Craigslist site for all things homeschool. Homeschooling families post their used curriculums and books on this site that they are selling. I always check here first before purchasing the items I need, and I often find what I’m looking for at only a fraction of the price!

Teachers Pay Teachers |If you are looking for some printables or something extra to go along with a unit you are teaching, browse this site. I have bought numerous items from this site, which has saved me time from creating documents myself! Also, I love that I am supporting another teacher and giving them my business.

Rainbow Resource |If you can’t find used curriculum, this site is my go-to for buying new books. It’s pretty much the “Amazon of Homeschooling Resources”.

Read-Aloud Revival |I LOVE LOVE LOVE this website by Sarah Mackenzie. If you are a book-lover, you need to know about this site. Sarah has a blog and a podcast that is all about reading aloud to your kids to make meaning connections around books. She posts audible deals and has a member’s only site where you can pay a monthly fee to get access to live interviews with famous children book authors. There’s lots to see, so check her site out!

Wild + Free |If you enjoy the outdoors and want to bring more of that to your homeschooling, or if you are just looking for a homeschooling community to support you in your journey, look no further than Wild + Free. I subscribe to their monthly bundles and listen to their podcast. Wild + Free has completely transformed the way I now approach my school day. Follow this link to download free articles on: “Should I Homeschool?: Some Answers to Your Questions” and “Homeschool Styles: 5 Different Approaches” (scroll down the page under the heading “FREE RESOURCES”).

Jodi Mockabee |I have been following this homeschooling mom on Instagram for awhile now and have fallen in love with her style and approach to homeschooling. She has an inspiring blog and shop where you can buy some of her homeschool units that she’s created. I love supporting other homeschooling moms!

Farmhouse Schoolhouse |A fun blog about homeschooling, Charlotte Mason, Classical Conversations and other wonderful resources. Check out her series on using “Morning Time” in your homeschooling day.

The Peaceful Press |Literature and project-based curriculums for elementary school students available to download.

Art For Kids Hub |This is my go-to YouTube channel for easy, step-by-step instructions on how to draw various topics.

Beautiful Feet Books |They believe the goal of education is to engage students. To this end, Beautiful Feet Books is dedicated to offering history programs with the best literature available, study guides to make each program easy to use, and the guarantee that your history studies will come alive. Learn history through literature!

Raising Little Shoots |If you are looking to begin a nature study program at home, this homeschooling mom wrote her own year-long curriculum and offers it at a wonderful price! Follow her on Instagram to see discount codes that she offers several times a year. (I have used this program before!)

Nature Pal Exchange |Enter your information on their website and they will pair you up with another family located in another part of the country. The two families send a Nature care-package to each other to learn about nature in other parts of the country! This was SUPER fun for our family to participate in. We highly recommend it! (Registration is only available various times throughout the year, so sign up on their website to be notified when registration opens back up again!)
